Floyd Mayweather Just Spent $3.5 Million To Lock Down The 2017 Bugatti Chiron

It has been a little while, but Floyd Mayweather is back at it again. It seems that the Money Man has not added to his luxury car collection for several months and was long overdue. This time, he has purchased a 2017 Bugatti Chiron in advance, after telling a friend that he wanted to upgrade his Bugatti collection. The now retired boxer dropped an amazing $3.5 million on his pre-order Bugatti.
If this story sounds awfully familiar, it is. Just this past October, Floyd bought another Bugatti luxury car for you guessed it, $3.5 million. That car was a 2015 Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. At that time, his car guy, Obi Okeke, stated that "Floyd's car collection is worth about $16 million right now and he wants to push it up to $30 million, and the biggest challenge for me is to find him very special unique cars." He has done just that with Floyd's latest addition to his luxury car collection.

(The photo above is Floyd in one of his other Bugattis)
In order to make room for his new Bugatti, Mayweather decided to sell one of his older models. One of his Bugattis was recently seen in Scottsdale, Arizona being loaded up onto a shipping truck to be sent off to the lucky person who bought it from him.

As we have previously reported, the Bugatti Chiron is the replacement for their Veyron model. Floyd will not be able to drive his car until it gets officially released in the spring, but he has already made room for it. Mayweather is not the only one to order a Chiron without even seeing what it will look like. Over 100 people have already reserved their luxury car which comes with a minimum deposit of $200 thousand. Here's what some believe the Chiron will look like:

The car's official unveiling will take place in March at the Geneva Motor Show and will feature an 8.0 liter W-16 quad-turbocharged engine with 1500 horsepower and a top speed of 288 miles per hour.
Floyd Mayweather's luxury car collection has been well documented, and it seems that he is not slowing down anytime soon, even after retiring from boxing undefeated. With a net worth of $400 million, a car like this only represents less than 1% of his wealth and is well within his budget.

Russian Billionaire Roman Abramovich Reportedly Gave Vladimir Putin A $35 Million Yacht

It looks like Donald Trump isn't the only billionaire interested in getting in Vladimir Putin's good graces. According to a recent BBC documentary on the Russian president's vast wealth (the subject of controversy and rumor for many years), a $35 million yacht was given to Putin by Roman Abramovich, billionaire owner of the Chelsea soccer organization.
This particular nugget of info comes from Dmitry Skarga, former head of Russian state shipping corporation Sovcomflot, who said that the company helped facilitate the exchange of the 57-meter Olympia from Abramovich's possession into Putin's with the help of an company off of Russia's shores:
"It's a fact that Mr Abramovich, through his employee, transferred a yacht to Mr Putin. I was on board of this yacht at the end of March 2002, in Amsterdam. And there was a representative of Mr Abramovich… He said that Roman is the owner of this yacht."
For Abramovich's part, the producers of the documentary have said that his lawyers denied that the yacht came from him. The yacht is only part of the documentary's accusations against Putin, though – there's also evidence of a billion-dollar mansion built by funds collected by the Kremlin under the auspices of national healthcare but actually used on the lavish mansion on the coast of the Black Sea.

The overwhelming theme of the investigation is that Putin has been singularly focused on accumulating as much wealth and power as possible during his time and office. He's been rewarded for his ambitions with a "vast fortune" that no one seems to know the exact value of, but is estimated to be in the neighborhood of$70 billion, in contrast to his relatively modest state salary of $119,000 a year in 2014, along with a few modest assets.

One of the people leading the charge against Putin is Adam Szubin, the United States' Acting Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence, who in the documentary makes a pointed summation of Putin's activities in office:
"We've seen him enriching his friends, his close allies and marginalizing those who he doesn't view as friends using state assets. Whether that's Russia's energy wealth, whether it's other state contracts, he directs those to whom he believes will serve him and excludes those who don't. To me, that is a picture of corruption."
Of course, you don't get that rich by just telling the truth to everybody you meet, and Putin has denied his reportedly massive fortune on multiple occasions.

Jay Z Hit With An $18 Million Lawsuit Over A Cologne

Jay Z is no stranger to business ventures. Whether we're talking about his Rocawear brand, his minority-ownership stake in the New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets, his Ace of Spades champagne, his foray into the world of sports agency through his Roc Nation Sports imprint, or the music streaming service, Tidal, Hov is definitely a business, man. But sometimes in business, things don't work out as planned, and in turn, one of the parties ends up taking the other to court. And that is exactly what happened with one of Hov's recent business ventures.

Two years ago, Jay Z launched his own line of cologne, called "Gold." If you're like most people, you probably don't even remember anything about Gold cologne, and for good reason. After the initial announcement, there was pretty much nothing, as it pertains to promo for the fragrance – no ads, nothing. In addition, Jay hardly ever spoke about the cologne in interviews or on social media, etc.

As a result of Hov's non participation in promoting the fragrance, the company that created it, Parlux Fragrances, is suing Hov for a whopping $18 million. According to Parlux, Hov's non participation is the reason the cologne failed in retail. The company says that Hov was supposed to do posts on social media about the cologne, but he never did. The company also claims that the New York bred mogul was supposed to work with them on a follow-up line, which he also did not do.
According to the company, it had projected a profit of $50 million from the fragrance, with the assumption that Hov would help promote it. But since, according to the company, Jay didn't hold up his end of the bargain when it came to promoting the fragrance, it has lost money on Gold. Furthermore, the company claims to have an enormous amount of returned and unsold inventory of the product.
We'll be sure to update you with any developments on this story.

Jordan Spieth Buys Dallas $7.15 Million Mansion From Fellow Golfer Hunter Mahan

Most 22-year-old guys are trying to get an extra shift or two so they can make their part of the rent and still have money for the weekend, but not Jordan Spieth. The No. 1 golfer in the world definitely does not have to pick up an extra anything in order to make rent and beer money. Chances are, he doesn't have any roommates, anyway. With the amount of money he made last year, he certainly doesn't need to split the rent.

If he would ever want to take on a few roommates, he would certainly have the space. The house has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and two half baths. With over 10,000 square feet of space, it will not be hard to find someone a place to lay their head down if he bedrooms are full.

The wood beam ceilings, hardwood floors, and brick archways help make an already spacious house feel even more open and inviting. If he wants to have guests, but doesn't want them getting under foot, the house has separate guest quarters as well.
The house certainly has everything a single, wealthy, 22-year-old needs – like a wine room on the second floor.

In case he doesn't get enough exercise walking the golf course, he can get plenty in his very own in-home gym. Should he feel like working on his game in his underwear, he can by using the golf simulator in the gym

Fresh off making $53 million last season ($30 million off-course; $23 million on-course), he went ahead and bought a house off of fellow golfer Hunter Mahan for $7.15 million.

San Francisco Hotel Offering Epic $1 Million Super Bowl Package

There is an insane amount of money to be made on the Super Bowl. Hotels prices are almost triple their normal rate: three-star hotels are getting $600 a night. People will pay a $100 to park in driveways half a mile from the stadium. And let's not forget about those outrageous ticket prices!
The most expensive ticket on the secondary market is going for $408,000, Yes, that is over $400,000 for a seat at a football game. You can get them cheaper, of course, but no matter what, you will spend a few thousand dollars regardless of where you sit.
Let's not even talk about how much a beer or a soda in a commemorative cup is going to cost you.

What is really crazy about it all, is that people will spend the money. They do every season, they will this season, and they will for many seasons to come. That is why a local hotel, the Fairmont in San Francisco, is offering a $1 million Super Bowl guest package.
Sound crazy? Who has $1 million to spend on going to a football game? Someone must or they wouldn't be offering it.
Want to know what you get for a million bucks?
For four nights, you will get to stay in a three bedroom, 6,000 square foot penthouse suite complete with a terrace, formal dining room, billiards room, and a two-story library (because you are spending a $ 1 million to enjoy a good book).
Oh, and they say it sleeps up to six people (not counting the 100 people paying $200 a head to sleep on the floor).
You will not need to steal the bathrobes because the package comes with six of them.
Your bar will be completely stocked and open, and your pantry will be stocked with whatever you tell the hotel to put in it. So if you want floor to ceiling Lucky Charms, that will be what you get.
Tickets to the game will be included, but not just six for the people staying in the suite. You get 22 of them along with pre-game access to the Big 50 club, and a $100 NFL Shop gift card. Six passes to different pre-game events and parties will also be included.

As for transportation, not only will you get a ride in a limo or luxury bus to the game, but it will come with a private chef, bartender, and a police escort. No traffic for you!
Sound good? Worth a million bucks?
For $1 million you would think they would throw in a dance lesson with Von Miller or a dab lesson with Cam Newton or something, but you'll have to be satisfied with living in the lap of luxury for four days with a handful of your best friends.

Classic Toyotas Are Now Selling For $1 Million

When you think of expensive luxury cars that could sell for millions of dollars at auction, Toyota is probably not one of the first brands that comes to mind. That is not the case for the Toyota 2000GT, which is the most expensive Japanese car ever sold, and gained its popularity thanks to the James Bond film series.
In 2013, a Toyota 2000GT sold for $1.3 million which made it the first car from Japan, and from all of Asia, to go for more than $1 million at an auction. This two seater hardtop coupe grand tourer has been called Japan's most legendary car, and another one is being offered up by RM Sotheby's in Scottsdale, Arizona. While it is estimated to sell for $800 to $900 thousand, it could easily end up going for at least $1 million.

The 2000GT came out of a partnership between Toyota and the Yamaha Motor Company in the early 1960s. Only 351 of these endurance racers were produced from 1967 to 1970 which makes them extremely rare. The car that is now up for sale features a 150 horsepower inline 6 engine tuned by Yamaha. It also comes equipped with a wooden steering wheel and leather lined odors.
Toyota's 2000GT became famous after it appeared in the 1967 James Bond film You Only Live Twice. The story goes that Bond actor Sean Connery was too tall for the car and his head stuck out of the top. Two special roofless versions were created just for the film in a two week period. The car was driven by Bond's girlfriend Aki in the movie, and Bond actor Daniel Craig has even named it as his favorite Bond car of all time.

The 2000GT made its official debut at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1965 and the front-engined rear-wheel drive model was designed by Jiro Kawano and Satoru Nozaki. Back in the late 60s, you could get your hands on a Toyota 2000GT in the United States for about $6,800. Now that these cars are going for 100 to 200 times that value, they are more than just collector's items.
